Domain Help, My Blog Disappeared

I can’t access my blog (www.milapuntocom.com), because I get the following message: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.
I don’t understand why this happened. I have a self hosted blog, but used to be in WordPress.com, I have been paying for my domain every December for the past 3-4 years. Why is this happening?? I need urgent help as I can’t access my blog.

Your domain milapuntocom.com, was registered through WordPress.com. It expired on 2016-12-02 and is currently in the redemption period.

The good news is that you can still try to recover your domain as it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else at auction or sold on back-order. A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular domain renewal cost of $18. The total cost will be $98.
If you agree to these costs I can generate a payment request for the amount. Once it has been paid, we can start the process of trying to get your domain back. Should the recovery fail after you’ve paid the redemption fee, that fee is refunded in full.
If you do not want to pay the fee, you can wait until the domain is released but you may not be able to get it back if it is purchased at auction during this time.
Acting quickly is important if you do want to try and recover the domain, so please let me know what you would like to do as soon as you can.

I’ve contacted the registrar today. I can’t give you an exact timeframe but it usually takes a couple of days to get a response. As soon as I hear back I’ll post a reply here.
