domain help…remove “wordpress” from url

  i would like my domain to be a “blind domain” so that when you type it in it just says mydomain.com not mydomain.wordpress.com How does this work?

  i already own my domain name and have it set up to redirect to my blog but is there a way to remove wordpress from the url after its redirected?

  Did you read the FAQ? If you want wordpress out of your url you have to pay for domain mapping. A redirect will NOT take the wordpress out.
