Domain Host Not Registered

  We are trying to register a domain through WordPress. We clicked Domain -> Register a New Domain -> typed in the new domain name -> typed in all of our info -> entered the payment information. And then it appeared saying:

  Registration failed. Please go back and correct the following.
  Registration failed. Please go back and correct the following.
  Host not registered: NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  Host not registered: NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  Host not registered: NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  Host not registered: NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

  Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

  I had the exact same issue! I checked my card and I was charged, but I’m not seeing the domain name listed under my domains. Any idea of who to contact?

  I just tried again and for some reason it worked this time with no error messages.

  No, no charge again. It said that there was already a credit on our account and it used that credit.

  It has worked for me too.
  Great workaround.
  But sadly we have to figure it out on our own.
  I expect it to be flawless from first time.
  A good topic to elaborate in WordPress blog and it will be called
  ‘My ungreat experience purchasing domain at WordPress.’
