Domain Hosting
-
I have a wordpress “blog”. I also have a domain I purchased on 1 & 1.
I can direct my 1 & 1 domain to link to my “blog”, but when I type in my “.com” site, the search bar changes to the “.wordpress.com” and shows the content of my blog.
I don’t want the “.wordpress.com” to show in order to see the content.
Is the only way to completely remove the “.wordpress.com” to pay wordpress.com to allow me to direct it to a domain I already own?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, to completely remove the “.wordpress.com”, domain mapping is necessary. It’s $13 per year. Here’s the guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
