  Ok I have a domain and a hosting site. How do I make a website and put it online using my domain and host?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  Right now you’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com.

  If you want to create a site with us, go to https://wordpress.com/start/site/ and follow the steps to create a new site. If you want to use your own domain, you can do that using any of our paid plans:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  Note that if you create your site with us, you don’t need to pay for hosting somewhere else, as we’ll be your hosting provider.

  If instead you want to create a WordPress site on your hosting account somewhere else, you’ll be using the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org. That’s not the same thing as WordPress.com.

  In that case, please contact your hosting provider directly for help installing the WordPress software on your server. For help with that version of WordPress you can ask the WordPress.org community in their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin//
