Hi there,
You are referring to ozbautocare.com yes? As tempting as it may be, I would not blame Wix here. All domain registrars (including WordPress.com) are required to put a 60 day lock on new domain registrations according to regulations set forth by ICANN that all providers must follow.
There is some good news here though, you can still use your domain anywhere you wish, even if you can’t transfer it yet. All you will need to do is change the “name server” settings for the domain to the ones that we use, and that will allow the domain to connect.
On our end, it’s not possible to add a custom site address to free sites, so you will need to upgrade to any of our plans (which all include a custom domain option) which you can learn about here:
Since you are just getting started the Personal Plan is probably the best fit, and will allow you to use your custom ozbautocare.com domain as the address for the site (once you add the correct settings) right away, and then when the 60 days are up you can transfer the domain as well so all your billing is in one place.
Also worth noting, if you choose the yearly option of any plan, it include a free domain transfer (we waive the fee) and when the transfer is complete we add a free year of registration as an added savings.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
