Domain in purchases but not in domain management

Hi, I accidently deleted my domain, thinking that would erase the blog, only to find it still available to the public, but not manageable by myself. The domain doesn’t show on the domains/manage page, and the blog is deleted from my account. What is the witchcraft going on? I can still see the domain on past purchases, but that’s about it. I can’t get it back, nor can I remove the contents it points to. Need guidance.

OK, looks like I’ve been too hasty with this. The domain is rafaeldaud.com. The content isn’t available to the public anymore, so I guess this was a cache/DNS propagation issue after all. My goal was to erase the content of the blog so that said domain doesn’t show anything of mine anymore, since I forfeited the domain. This seems to have been achieved. I’ll mark this as solved. Thanks.

I just checked the domain you mentioned and confirmed that it is not pointing to WordPress.com, as you said.
Additionally, if you’d like to remove a specific site, you can follow this guide:

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to make the site private so its content is no longer visible to the public, you can follow these steps instead:
https://wordpress.com/support/privacy-settings/make-your-website-private/
