Domain in Redemption Period

  My domain registration lapsed and I am in a redemption period currently, it appears. goodnesschick.com is the domain. A series of bad luck led me to not know until now. Would appreciate help. Thank you!

  Please note that while the WordPress.com team can send a payment request to your email, an additional $80 fee is required to recover a domain from the Redemption Period.

  Hi goodnesschick,

  goodnesschick.com expired on 28th August 2018 and is currently in the redemption period. I’ve sent a payment request to the email address on your Account Settings page so you can pay the fee and domain cost.

  I’ll start the recovery process by contacting our domain registrar once your payment has come through.

  Your payment has come through, thanks! I’ve contacted our registrar and we usually receive a reply in 1-2 business days but I’ll be in touch as soon as I have more news.

  Appreciate all the help Gemma. One last thing for now I just thought of – will the domain/site be blank or how it was when it went offline? Just curious if I would have to start from scratch with things. Thank you so much!

  Hi there! Your domain has been added back to your account and is active once again. The name servers are still pointing to your site and you should be able to see all of your old content. If you have any further questions, just let us know!
