Domain in redemption period

  Hi, I have a client who registered a domain with you. It was later pointed to a self hosted site NOT a wordpress.com site. The domain has entered redemption period as he was unable to access his emails and credit card had changed. How does he go about getting the domain back? It’s robrtgreengolf.com

  Hi there,

  That domain has been removed from our system, and it’s not possible to recover it at this point. So you’ll have to wait until it’s released, and then you can register it again.

  Since we have no control over that domain, we can’t tell you the exact date the domain will be released. It usually takes a few weeks. So, my advice is to periodically try and register it.
