  I would like to take over a domain that has been deleted but is not available in wordpress.com

  Howdy jakubsylburski!

  When a domain has been deleted on WordPress.com, it’s unrecoverable for a couple of years until they clear the deleted domains list. It won’t be possible to get it for a while.

  Hi there,

  What is the domain? If it’s a custom domain it will depend on whether the last registrar where it was registered has released it already.

  If it’s for a free *.wordpress.com address, we cannot manually reassign deleted addresses under any circumstances. Some deleted addresses become available again after two years, but that’s an automated process. If an address is not released, there is no way to re-use it.
