Domain inquiry

    Hello,
    I would like to choose ‘Transfer your domain away from your current registrar’, but it takes 60 days to be able to choose this option. If I start designing the website now (name.wordpress.com) and then transfer my domain after the 60 days (name.com), will I lose all of the design and need to start again?

    If you want to build a site here at WordPress.com it would have been easier to buy your custom domain here too. As it is if you just bought a domain elsewhere today then you can’t transfer it here (or anywhere else) for 60 days. You can map it to a WordPress.com site immediately with a paid plan though.
