my website is accidentally in the redemption period, due to no one telling me what our 3rd party domain was (automattic Inc.)
How can I get it reactivated? -

Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? What is the URL of the site associated with the upgrade you are needing help with? Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

yes, so I created an account so that I could get access to tech support.
I believe it is under a different email address, by the person who originally set up the account for our organization (Students Vs Pandemics).
Her name was Sam Elghanayan.
I believe her email was something like (email visible only to moderators and staff)

I put the username in that ticket #3960864. And now I cant find it on my sticky notes anywhere. Ugh, what a wreck this has turned into .

Hi there,
The regulations around domain ownership are very strict, and we can only redeem a domain if the request comes directly from the WordPress.com account that owns it, or from the email address that was provided as the domain’s admin contact when it was registered.
So unfortunately we cannot redeem the domain at your request, nor can we transfer ownership to you. We can only redeem the domain if the request comes from Sam, and only she has the ability to transfer ownership of that domain to you.
If you’re unable to get hold of Sam so she can contact us directly for help with this, the only other option is to wait for the redemption period to end – this will happen on 31 May – and then try to register the domain again as a new domain once it’s released a few days later. However, note that once it’s released, anyone will be able to register it, so we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to get this domain back at that point.

If she can log into her WordPress.com account that owns the domain and makes the request on this thread, we can better assist with this.
