domain is already registered and cannot renew!!

    Hi guys,

    We currently are recieving the following message:

    Uh oh! Your blog’s domain soundlounge21.com expired 2 days ago!
    The domain soundlounge21.com was last renewed on July 22, 2014. It is configured to redirect traffic to the web address projectsoundlounge.co.uk.

    However, this domain name expired on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. It needs to be renewed every year to stay active or otherwise it will be lost. Please renew soundlounge21.com below now before it’s too late — It’s quick and easy:

    Renew now
    at £15. per year
    Your blog’s domain soundlounge21.com stopped functioning on Thursday, July 23, 2015 and visitors who come to the web address soundlounge21.com cannot find your site any more. Please note the primary domain projectsoundlounge.co.uk was also deactivated until soundlounge21.com is either renewed or canceled.

    however when we attempt to pay for the renewal we’re told the domain is already registered and the renewal cannot be processed. please advise!

    The issue is likely that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the soundlounge21.com domain.

    So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to renew soundlounge21.com.
