Domain is being pointed to an older version (back to WordPress)
-
Hey guys! Hoping you can help. My domain (SUSPENDMAG.COM) has been powered by Squarespace for the past two years. Just today, it’s all of a sudden being pointed to a much older version of the website, back when it was being powered by WordPress.com. The domain is being hosted on Hostmonster.com and doesn’t expire until next year. I called Hostmonster.com and they said to contact Wild West Domains, which I did. They told me that yes, they are a wholesale domain dealer but that I would still have to contact WordPress.com to find out what is going on with the settings.
Right now under my Squarespace.com DNS settings, nothing is being pointed in the right direction (all showing up as “no record found”).
Can someone please help?
Thanks!

Can someone at WordPress.com help me change the name servers for suspendmag.com because they are currently pointing to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COMAnd I need them to point to:
NS1.hostmonster.com
NS2.hostmonster.com -
Hello WordPress staff, can somebody please help me with this situation? I was able to make 3 phonecalls yesterday to Wild West Domains, another 3 phonecalls to Hostmonster.com and yet I have no response to this inquiry from WordPress (which is where this problem lies).
I need to know what’s going on with our domain at suspendmag.com and why, as of yesterday, the name servers are pointing back to WordPress.com when, for the past year or so, it’s already been pointing to Hostmonster.com (where the domain is currently being hosted).
Wild West Domains says they have NO authority to change the name servers and that only someone from WordPress can change the name server settings. Can someone please get back to me regarding this…

Just called Wild West Domains again today and they’re telling me (still) that they aren’t authorized to make any changes to any domains that were originally purchased through WordPress.com….

And while I’m patiently waiting for someone at WordPress to get back to me, why are there these status codes attached to our domain?!

Hi @suspendmag @thenbtw, Staff are aware of this issue and are looking into it. This thread has been tagged for their attention. No need to open new threads or post into other threads on this topic. Thanks for your patience.

I am sending you an email to the address associated with your WordPress.com account. Please let me know if you do not receive it.

To everyone else having domain issues…
WordPress.com staff is attending our once a year all company meeting. However, there is a team of us keeping an eye out and will help you as quickly as we can.
To make that go faster, please make ONE new thread of your own and add the “modlook” tag to that thread. The modlook tags gets our attention and having your own thread helps staff work more quickly. It is very confusing to try and work through a thread with a dozen users with a dozen different sites posting to it.
