  Domain is expiring soon…would like to keep leadersleavinglegacies.org (leadersleavinglegacies.wordpress.com) domain name but would like to redirect to my leadersleavinglegacies.com site where I’m using wordpress.org. Please help. The edit button is not working for the .org domain.

  I was wondering if I could downgrade to free acct and still do this? If not, let me know. I may need to just redirect the whole site to my new site. I need help!

  Hi there!

  You can have leadersleavinglegacies.org point to your self-hosted site by changing your name servers here on WordPress.com:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Then update your Primary domain here to be leadersleavinglegacies.wordpress.com:

  https://wordpress.com/my-domains/

  With those steps, people can still reach your free WordPress.com site, but anyone visiting the domain leadersleavinglegacies.org will get pointed to your self-hosted sites.

  Please help. The edit button is not working for the .org domain.

  We’ve seen this error on a occasion for users using the My Domains page in /wp-admin/ after saving other changes in the dashboard. If you’re on that page, could you try doing a force refresh before hitting the Edit button? That usually clears it up.
