Domain is hosted elsewhere

Last year I stupidly switched hosting and my domain over to A Small Orange. I quickly realized that I preferred WordPress and brought my site back over, but A Small Orange retained ownership of my domain. It’s coming up for renewal and as money is tight right now I would rather not pay the $22 they’re asking for, instead just renewing my bundle with WordPress and the free domain for $99. Is this possible? What do I need to do to keep the domain and bring it back to WordPress? (A lapse of a few days’ access to my site is fine, so I’m not concerned about that.) Thank you!

Unfortunately, we don’t currently accept incoming domain transfers. You could check other domain registrars to compare pricing for your domain renewal and transfer to one of them instead.
