Domain is registered

  Hi,
  I want to register a wordpress domain named http://www.slumsoccer.wordpress.com
  Unfortunately wordpress says that this domain is not available. However http://www.slumsoccer.wordpress.com is not a current webpage.
  Anybody has an idea what the problem might be? Does WordPress block some addresses because of a certain reason?

  Hi,
  It’s possible to create a username without creating the site to go with it. When someone does that, WordPress.com reserves the domain name for that person should they ever wish to use it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#additional-info
