Domain isn't working

My domain is not working when I type into the browser although I have set my posts and my blog itself to public (Settings –> Reading –> Site Visibility –> Discourage Search Engines from Indexing this Site; also each post itself under Quickedit the “Private” box is unchecked). The domain is: http://letsgofargo.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

letsgofargo.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
Do you want to register letsgofargo.wordpress.com?
Why don’t you just click on that and register it?

How do I register the domain name? I have already posted several posts to this blog so is it possible that it is not registered despite the posts and comments I have received from WordPress members?

I’m of the opinion you must have made a spelling mistake in the URL, because that blog most certainly does not exist and it appears it has never existed.

I am sorry, I just realized the issue is a TYPO! My domain name that I registered is incorrectly spelled as: letsogofargo.wordpress.com. Is there a way I can change this to: letsgofargo.wordpress.com? (That is, remove the extra “o” haver the first “s”?)

There is but take my word for it: you don’t want to go through the procedure. Just click on the link at the top of the thread in your post and register that blog. Then set the one you don’t want to Private. it’s very, very useful to have a private blog for testing themes and widgets. Then you can just Import your content into the new blog from the Tools page, after creating an Export file from the Tools page of the old one.

If you have some subscribers or such – you can also set the individual Posts to “Private” then only you can see them and search engines won’t – then when you make a new Post on the correct spelling blog – make a short Post on the old blog with a one sentence I have moved – see the new Post here and have a link to the new Post – do that a few times to train any followers – if you had a email subscribe ask them to resubscribe or maybe the staff can transfer the subscribers to the new blog for you

Please read the information very carefully as this cannot be undone once done.
My suggestion would be to NOT discard the current site and either purchase the Site Redirect upgrade or place a note on it like captnmike suggests letting folks know of the new location if you’ve given out this address.
Also, by not discarding the incorrect address, you could use this as a test site in the future, as raincoaster suggested.
