Domain Issue

I changed my domain through HostGator and I followed all the steps needed. When I search my site as a guest, it pops up like normal and everything is there. The problem is that I can’t get into my self-hosted site WordPress Admin page. When i type my website/wp-admin/, it redirects back to my old domain and obviously there’s nothing there. I’ve tried updating my WordPress account but it’s not letting me add a new primary site. I’m not sure what to do as I need to be able to get into my blog!!!

See, WordPress is not letting me update to the new site. The new site is http://www.shelbymellomfit.com which is what I need help with!

shelbymellomfit.com is a wordpress.ORG software install hosted by CyrusOne
    Name Servers:
    ns8180.hostgator.com
    ns8179.hostgator.com

WordPress.COM sites and WordPress.ORG sites have different logins and support forums. Also be aware of who the web host is for your site(s) and contact them for any hosting issues.

That site is not hosted on wordpress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum for support for your software.

This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page. Read the differences here https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
