  Can I move the domain I just purchased here to other hosting sites?

  Hi there,

  You can transfer the domain purchased at WordPress.com after a 60-day lock for newly registered domains per ICANN rules. There is, however, an option to opt-out of the 60 days wait.

  Actually I was tasked to transfer a domain from another premium account to a certain hosting server.

  Yes, domains can be transferred away from WordPress.com. You own it after all, not us. What domain are you working on?

  It will have to be 60 days old before it can be transferred.

  The domain only purchased few days ago. Let’s just say I have another server, are we allowed to change the domain nameservers?

  @kpalojado sure thing. You can point the domain wherever you’d like so long as it’s current. Here’s how:
