domain issue

  Hello, I recently started a wordpress site and things are going quite well. The only problem is I opted for the “.com” domain rather than the “.wordpress.com” domain and got the latter instead even though I payed the fee associated. As I am extremely excited about beginning my new site I am looking forward to this correction being made. Thank you!

  Hi there,

  Right now you have a site with the free WordPress.com address naturalfuture.wordpress.com and a custom domain naturalfuture.com.

  No matter what custom domain you add to your site, it will always have a free WordPress.com address as the underlying address. That ensures that your content will always be safe, even if you change or stop using a custom (“.com”) domain.

  I checked the domain naturalfuture.com that you chose, and that domain is already registered somewhere else. If you registered that domain somewhere else and want to use it here at WordPress.com, you can map the domain to point it to your site.

  If you didn’t register that domain somewhere else already, I’m afraid it’s not available for you to use on your site here. If that’s the case, please let me know and I can refund your purchase and you can head to the Domains page to choose an available domain for your site.
