I am in need of desperate help with my blog. It has over 2 Million views, and did have thousands of daily viewers! It is extremely popular!
Recently, I was playing around with my blog settings and experimenting, and *occidentally* I changed the blog address. I read the warnings and subs wrong. Now that I changed the address, I have lost about thousand(s) of viewers. The views have dropped so low since then. I am extremely upset. Hundreds of blogs across the net have mentioned my blog with the old link. Even my other blogs have links to the old one, but I have no time to tell everyone about my new link, etc. Many of my viewers are lost.
I haven’t discarded my address. Instead it just created a brand new site with the same old address?! On that new site, I got thousands of views! So many of my viewers are gone. :( I am so sad.
How can I get the old domain back? I am the owners of BOTH blogs. I am not willing to pay a site redirect because it was one little mistake, and you know…! Btw Im only 14 years old and so successful with my blog. It’s my life. I love wordpress and have been so sad these past few weeks/days. Please help?
Just change the address of my old blog to the new one.

If you cannot do anything, is there any way to contact? I saw that I need to be upgraded to contact wordpress, but I won’t upgrade just to contact.

See the link below – you want to Export from the new blog and Import the contents back to the old blog since both blog addresses are still alive. DON’T do the change address thing. Just Export / Import

Can’t I just change the domains? Just swap them? Can I ask wordpress to do this for me?! :( To just trade domains?!

Sorry I don’t know if you or the staff can swap the domain names a second time and move the Stats – my suggestion will put your content back where it started without any content getting lost – and your visitors should have the links start working
The other option that you said you would not pay for is a site redirect to send traffic from the old blog address to the new one and that for sure will keep the stats – that will work but there is a charge for it, no freebies just because you made a mistake
I will flag this for the staff attention – but keep in mind that they are a bit backed up right now

You still have both URL’s and all the content. Usually people loose one or the other and sometimes both, so you are actually quite lucky
