Domain issues

  I have paid for my domain name (cellardoorway.com) to be renewed (I actually paid for it twice; it didn’t go through the first time), and WP says it’s been renewed until Nov. ’08, but the domain link doesn’t work and I don’t know what to do about it.

  I get a blog that is not hosted on wordpress.com with that domain. Going to http://cellardoorway.wordpress.com/ redirects you to the blog not hosted here, so it appears to be working if that was the desired result. If you purchased the domain through wordpress.com then you need to not only upgrade the domain mapping, but the registration of the domain as well. If you registered the domain with another registrar, you need to extend the registration with your domain registrar.

  I did renew both the registration and the mapping. The blog address redirects to a random page. I registered my name through WordPress … I don’t know what else to do.
