Domain Issues

I registered my domain, http://www.notjulieandrews.com, last night and today I set up my domain name to be redirected to my wordpress blog. I’ve checked the DNS addresses and although they all appear to be correct, when I try to access try to access my blog through notjulieandrews.com it takes me to the Google Start page and states:

    “Service not available

This service is not enabled for notjulieandrews.com. If you believe this is an error, please contact your domain administrator or try again with the following link.
    http://start.notjulieandrews.com”

Also, I used to host a blog on my domain through blogger and it used to work when I accessed the blog by adding the WWW to the beginning of the address, but now when I try to do the same it takes me to a page that says:

“The page you have requested could not be found. (404)”

I’m a technical boob, so there is a very real chance I’m doing something very wrong when it comes to the DNS nameservers or something else so if anyone knows what the problem could be, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Make sure your domain is no longer pointing at the Blogger account, and is indeed pointing to WordPress.com nameservers.

You should also allow up to 24 hours for the change to take place, DNS servers must update and such.

Okay, as soon as I submitted this question, technology wanted to make me look stupid so the domain (notjulieandrews.com) magically started working. But (www.notjulieandrews.com) still takes me to the
“The page you have requested could not be found. (404)” error page. Any ideas?

They both take me to your wordpress.com blog, but http://www.notjulieandrews.com redirects to notjulieandrews.com for some reason. . . . It could just be your ISP’s DNS server. I use OpenDNS on my router because my ISP has some weird DNS servers that won’t visit some webpages unless I put www. in front of the URL.
