  Hello I just created a wordpress account. I wished to have my domain be (mysitename).wordpress.com and not (mysitename)dotcom.wordpress.com. Is there any way to change this?

  Hi there,

  You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

  Your address ended up with the dotcom at the end because you typed in mysitename.com in the given field, rather than just mysitename . You can leave the .com out of the field.
