It seems that our web address is no longer routing to our website… I’m getting a ‘domain mapping’ error. My account is valid and up-to-date and hosted through WordPress. Help?

Businesses, organizations and groups of any kind do not own blogs. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
Only one Admin per blog is recommended.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administratorSubscribed purchases are automatically renewed every year using the credit or debit card information provided upon purchase, so long as the card is still valid and active.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade to access the blog’s dashboard and renew the upgrade(s) and to update credit card details https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/.
If you are not the site’s owner, you have to contact them so they can transfer the blog and upgrades to another username account.

I am aware of that, but the issue is that my subscription has been renewed. It never even lapsed. What would cause this?

There was glitch on our end that prevented your domain to register with us even though you purchased the upgrade.
I have fixed the issue on our end and the domain is working with your site and is good to go. Sorry for the inconvenience.
