domain issues

  Hi,
  I registered this free account here now because I had no other means to contact you. My original wordpress account is not available, though I have my site there! I can’t log in and my pages do not load at all. :(
  My domain name was furedi-annamaria.hu until this Monday (28 Nov) when I typed in my newly bought domain name: greenismycolour.com. As I clicked Save my page died. I couldn’t even login to wordpress using that account (username: annamari, email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)).
  I’d like to reach my normal site again, I have all my pages there!!!
  Please, help me!

  Sorry, I hoped to get personal feedback and unfortunately I ended up posting my problem on a forum….
  This is pretty awkward. Why don’t you provide person to person support?? :(

  Hi there,

  furedi-annamaria.hu is not hosted with WordPress.com and the only WordPress.com username account with the email address you provided is this new account you created.

  furedi-annamaria.hu is a self-hosted WordPress site using the WordPress.org software. It’s hosted with iworx-host.com

  It sounds like you changed the domain of your site in the WP-Admin dashboard instead of changing it in your host’s control panel. That will break your site, as the admin link is connected to the domain, but your domain is not connected to your host.

  You will need to contact your hosting provider for help in fixing this, as the new domain needs to be connected to your site from their end. You can see the WordPress.org instructions for changing a site’s domain here:
