  Hello,
  I currently have purchased a domain name with Google, have registered for BlueHost to host the site and have been working on my WordPress content and themes. The problem is, I currently have the site http://www.thebarntableblog.wordpress.com and I don’t want ‘wordpress’ as part of the URL. Do I delete this site and start over with my already purchased URL?

  Hi there,

  If you are going through Bluehost to host your site and already have Google as your domain host, you won’t need your WordPress.com blog for anything. Your site won’t be hosted with us here at WordPress.com, but rather you’ll be running the self-hosted version of WordPress.org at Bluehost.

  Were you wanting to host your site with WordPress.com? If so, you didn’t need to purchase hosting with Bluehost. Let me know. Thanks!
