Domain Issues

  I have two blogs through wordpress and I created two different domains for them. I can’t figure out how to assign each domain to each blog. Every time I try to assign a domain, it automatically takes all of my readers to one blog… Help me please! I’m lost and confused! Thank you :)

  Hi Kaily,

  Sorry for the confusion! I can help you sort this out.

  Right now, both of your domains (diaryofacoupongoddess.com and somedaysunny.com) are linked to your blog with the free WordPress.com address http://coupongoddessfinesse.wordpress.com/ — that means both domains will direct visitors to that blog.

  I see that you have another blog at http://puttingmyfaceon.wordpress.com/ . Would you like me to move your domain somedaysunny.com over to that blog?

  That way, diaryofacoupongoddess.com will lead to the blog at http://coupongoddessfinesse.wordpress.com/ and somedaysunny.com will lead to the blog at http://puttingmyfaceon.wordpress.com/ . I just want to make sure that’s what you want before I make any changes for you. :)

  Thanks for confirming! I just moved somedaysunny.com over to the right blog, so you’re all set.

  Just a heads up, it might take a bit for you to see that change on your end. (Sometimes it can take up to 72 hours for domain changes like that to take full effect.) So if you visit your domain and it doesn’t look right yet, please give it a little more time. If it still doesn’t look right after a few days, let me know so I can investigate that for you. :)
