  hello, I already have a domain how can I link that. and how can I use it for free? I can’t upload plugins or anything how can I do that with the existing domain I bought from GoDaddy. Do I need to pay for everything?

  Yes, you need to upgrade your plan to business to upload custom plugins and Domain Mapping is the upgrade you would purchase if you wanted to use a domain registered elsewhere with your WordPress.com sites.

  You can transfer your domain name to WordPress.com to save your cost.
