Domain link
-
Hi,
I recently switched my domain from WordPress to GoDaddy thinking it would be simpler to have them own all of my websites/blogs. I sent WP a message confirming that everything was transferred ok and it was. However, now that it’s transferred nobody can access it b/c I am told I need the domain upgrade ($99). Obviously if I knew that I never would have switched this – so sorry I did now. Options? Can I switch it back to you? Can I upgrade to a cheaper bundle? Thoughts? Thanks for your help:)

Hi there!
I’m confused – did you still want to use your domain “everydayfamilyfood.com” with your blog at http://everydayfamilyfood.wordpress.com/?
If so, you only need to purchase the $13 domain mapping upgrade and change your nameservers with GoDaddy. Here’s more information on mapping your domain – including the exact nameservers you want to use:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/If you have any questions on setting your nameservers, you would need to contact GoDaddy for help. Here’s their help page that will walk you through this setup:
http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/664/setting-nameservers-for-your-domain-namesClick “Setting Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered with Us” and follow the instructions there. Pay attention to the instructions in step 5 for “I have specific nameservers for my domains” and update your domain’s name servers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThat should take care of it! Let me know if you need help setting up things on the WordPress.com side of things.
