Domain linking

    Our organization provides funding to a primary school in Tanzania. The school is in need of a website, and we thought WordPress would be the appropriate route. However, I’m concerned that the domain name we intend to purchase, graceschool.sc.tz won’t be able to be linked to our WordPress website. Are there limitations to what domains can be linked, or will this domain be okay to use?

    Hi there,

    .tz domain are not offered on WordPress.com. However, you can map the domain to your WordPress site if you purchase it elsewhere. The instruction to map your custom domain can be found at https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/.

    Lastly, please be aware that you need to upgrade to paid plans in order to map your custom domain.
