Domain locked

  For some reason my domain is showing locked, although it was registered two years ago.
  Was trying to transfer, didn’t realize had to have different email in contact info.
  
  Added different email, then it was locked.
  Please advise, wanting to transfer domain asap

  If you changed something you probably reactivated the 60 day lock. You’ll be able to point/connect the domain elsewhere immediately though and transfer it later on?

  If I recall correctly when changing info there used to be a box to tick to avoid activating the lock. If you didn’t do that I think you now have to wait 60 days to transfer but as said previously there shouldn’t be anything stopping you pointing the domain at a site at another host in the meantime.

  The domain thehandcarryguy.com was transferred away successfully from WordPress.com to another registrar. If you were referring to a different domain, please share the domain name.

  Generally speaking, you can make another domain contact information change and make sure to opt out of the transfer lock. Note that you have to make an actual change in one of the fields (like the name or email address) for this to work.
