Domain locked

  I cancelled the paid plan last night and now my domain is locked!! When when this clear??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,
  Since you cancelled your paid plan, you will need to create a new free wordpress account and contact support so they can unlock your old account to transfer your content. here is a link explaining this a bit more:

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of the domain, careymariedesigns.com? You had only bought a domain mapping upgrade for that domain. All that upgrade does is connect the domain to your WordPress.com site, but we have no control over the domain itself, and if the domain is now locked it’s not because of anything you did here on WordPress.com.

  Please contact Namecheap.com, where you bought that domain, for help with this.

  Also, the OP is posting here using a WordPress.com account, so your reply that they need to create another account, to open a second support request, does not make any sense. The old thread you link to make no mention of having to open a second account.
