Domain locked for transfer

When I try updating my expired payment information I get an error no matter which card I use. So I’m transferring my domain but when I tried to do it I got an error saying it’s registrar-locked. Who do I contact to get it unlocked? The domain is thegestationaldiabetic.com. It’s hosted on wordpress.org

That domain was registered here at WordPress.com. If it has expired then the best thing to do is to renew it right here and then point it to wherever you wish to have your site hosted. This thread is tagged for staff assistance.

Thank you. I mean’t my site is not hosted on wordpress.org, but the domain is still with .com.
I’ve been trying to update my payment info for days but I get an error every time.

The domain has not expired.
You can remove the lock and transfer it elsewhere following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

Hi. I would rather renew it but I keep getting errors when I update my card info. Also, I cannot complete the steps in the article because I don’t see (in my account) what is being described, and when I click on domain registration from the article, it takes me to my “homepage” that says Add Site.

I’m unsure how long remains until the domain actually does expire but if it hasn’t expired it is already registered here and doesn’t need registering? Are you following these instructions to change the card details:

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m emailing support about this as well. Hopefully they can get it figured out. Thank you everyone.
