Domain loop

    I purchased todrinkandwrite.com as my domain. However, when I try to set it as the primary, I get a message that says “This website has a redirect loop” and can’t get to my page. Can you help? Thanks.

    Hi,

    When that happens, all you need to do is to clear your browser’s cache and it’ll begin to work. Instructions on how to do that can be found at Browser Issues

    Your browser, to save time, stores some information for a few hours—like where your domain points to. Since you updated it, it doesn’t realize that (yet) so tries to take you to http://todrinkandwrite.wordpress.com/ . Since you had just set http://todrinkandwrite.wordpress.com/ to point to your domain instead, you get sent back to the domain, but the browser still thinks…. thus the loop.
