domain map NS changes don't seem to be recognized
-
Hello!
I am in the store trying to set up a domain map.
This message below comes up.
I sent an email to the company that I bought the domain from and they have confirmed that the problem isn’t at their end – the NS changes to wordpress have actually happened.
So I came back to WP today and I still get this message.
Suggestions?

Someone (maybe you?) already registered carolmccuaig.ca, but the domain is not pointing to WordPress.com.
Currently the nameservers for this domain appear to be:
66.6.60.26
38.117.90.157
Using the DNS tools provided by your domain registrar, remove any existing nameservers and add the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need a zone record added for carolmccuaig.ca for the domain mapping to work and the name server change to be allowed
I will flag this for the staff to add a zone record for you.

I have manually added a zone record for your domain.
You should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

Thank you.
I just tried to set up mapping in the store and the same problem seems to exist. So as per the instructions you sent me, I’ll try putting in IP addresses with the registrar. Although, a couple of weeks ago when this problem became apparent, I sent an email to the registrar company and they confirmed that the NS was changed to WP and didn’t identify that there is a problem with using it… -
Your nameservers definitely are not set: http://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/carolmccuaig.ca
I recommend contacting your registrar.

Aggh! ;-)
So at the registrar site, I put in the WP addresses (I got these from the page you sent me) and it didn’t accept them.
72.233.69.14
76.74.159.137
64.34.177.159
So I’ve put it back to the NS1 etc. I’ll wait 24 hours, check it out. If no luck, I’ll call the registrar again…Can’t say I’m too pleased with them for not telling me the truth.
I’ll let you know – thank you for your patience. -
