Domain Maping

  I when throughout the process of domain mapping even the trouble shooting. I contact Godaddy and they said that the issue was form your end. they typed the domain in a site called network-tools.com below is what the site stated.
  Retrieving DNS records for gbernadcarpentry.com…
  Attempt to get a DNS server for gbernadcarpentry.com failed: gbernadcarpentry.com does not exist in the DNS
  I am using wp.com. what do i do next

  Hi there,

  I see that you set up a site redirect: gbernardcarpentry.com. If you just want to map the domain to your WordPress.com site, you will need the Domain Mapping upgrade. I see that you updated the nameservers so after the correct upgrade is added you should be set! Please note that it may take up to 48 hours to fully propagate.

  I have refunded/canceled the Site Redirect upgrade. Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.

  Go to Store in your Dashboard and add the Domain Mapping upgrade.

  I thought I followed the same steps I’ve done before for another site that I have mapped to WP. I wish you would have discussed my options before you deleted the purchase. Now WP is saying the domain in not available through the Map domain option.

  I’m not understanding what’s going on. It looks like you purchased the Domain Mapping upgrade as I instructed you above and now it’s working as seen here:

  

  Do you not want to map your domain? I can switch it back to the Site Redirect if you want. Are you trying to leave WordPress.com? Let me know and I can switch it back.
