domain mapped blog counting my own views

Just started a new blog, purchased a domain name and mapped to WordPress. Every time I visit the blog from its own dashboard, it’s counted as a page view in my stats. Is this supposed to happen? My other blog, which goes by a wordpress URL, doesn’t count my own hits. My domain mapped blog does. What’s the story?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please provide both URLs. The URL for the root blog and the URL for the domain.

Thanks for your reply. The wordpress URL is pittsburghportrait.wordpress.com and the main domain is pittsburghportrait.org. The second (.org) is the primary domain.

Those appear to be the same exact blog, just with domain mapping; not two separate blogs.

You will need to contact staff, as I’ve heard of this happening rarely before.

Yes, it’s the same blog. Sorry for the confusion. In my original post “my other blog” literally means a different blog, not the one in question. What I’m talking about now is the same blog with domain mapping. I was wondering if domain mapping was the reason all my own views are being counted.

Domain mapping should not cause a change in the way the stats are counted – when you are logged in your visits should not be counted – mapping or not.
