Hi thanks for reading and maybe answering my question.
I started a new site called http://www.XBOXAvatarGEAR.com using WordPress to run it. I own my domain name and was debating on doing the Map a Subdomain so that when people go to http://www.XBOXAvatarGEAR.com they only see that addresss and not http://xboxavatargear.wordpress.com/ My question is if i pay the $12.00 will all my links change such as if i made a post and the link is.
http://xboxavatargear.wordpress.com/2011/09/01/xbox-live-rewards-80-ms-point-reward-for-september/
Will it then chane to.
http://xboxavatargear.com/2011/09/01/xbox-live-rewards-80-ms-point-reward-for-september/
and will any links i have posted with the OLD style now not work?
Just to be clear if i change will any links i have posted anywhere now not work to bring people to my site?Question 2 is that the ONLY way to change my address to read http://www.XBOXAvatarGEAR.com? or is there a FREE way or cheaper way to do it and still use WordPress?

1) the old links will work fine with the Domain Mapping – you won’t need to change anything
2) Not really – there is a redirect way to do things but the new name gets lost after the redirect so your new name does not build identity.
