Domain mapping

  Hi I already have a domain hosted in my mobile me account I want to tranfer my domain to my wordpress blog, but I have already two pages I need to keep ex. domian.com/page1 and domain.com/page2 after moving my domain can i keep this pages / adress ? as wordpress do not support FTP ……thanks in advance.

  Hi. No, you cannot have those pages hosted by your existing provider and the rest of your site hosted by WordPress.com.

  But of course, you can re-create those pages on WordPress.com.

  ok thanks ! and the adress of the page will be the same rigth ? not user.wordpress.com/page1

  You can call your pages almost anything you want. Only certain words (such as “media” I think) are not allowed because they may interfere with the proper operation of your blog.

  If you tell us the exact addresses of those pages, we may be able to determine if you can re-use those URLs at WordPress.com.
