Domain Mapping
-
Hello,
I need some help with Domain Mapping. I originally setup a site with the feature enabled. Then I decided to host my site on godaddy and canceled my domain mapping.
Now, about 50% of the time when I go to my url I get an error message stating ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’
I logged into my account and deleted everything…I even changed my handle. But I can’t stop WordPress from trying to map the site! Help?!

I am having this same issue, godaddy and all–except I’m seeing that error message 100% of the time.

I figured it out after a LONG time on the phone with GoDaddy.
Go to http://www.whatsmydns.net
add your URL in the search window
select ‘NS’ in the dropdown
searchIf ANY of them show:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comthen you have a DNS issue. We re-set the DNS names to default GoDaddy DNS names. 4-8 hours to propagate, and we’re all good. RESOLVED!
Cann GoDaddy and tell them you have a DNS issue and they’ll walk you through the steps. But press them to go to whatsmydns.net as it will have different info than the internal systems.
