domain mapping

  I have a current website for my business. I want to create the wordpress site first and then use the domain for the existing website for the wordpress domain. Can I not map the domain now in my wordpress site when I first start and then change the domain later and map it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m not sure I follow. Which sites do you mean?

  Please provide the addresses, and walk me through how you’d like it to work ultimately.

  I probably not explaining it correctly. http://www.hroptions.com is our current website. I want to use that same web URL for the new wordpress website we are creating. Until the new wordpress site is ready – I have not “mapped” the domain to hroptions.com. I assume I can get the wordpress site ready and THEN I will map it to http://www.hroptions.com. I may be completely off and “mapping” the domain has nothing to do with using the URL http://www.hroptions.com.
