Domain mapping

  Hello, I need to map this wordpress site to http://www.centrepointacupuncture.com (registered through Go Daddy). When I go to map the two, it wants to charge me $129 and not just the $17 mapping cost. Could someone please explain why that is? or tell me what I am doing wrong?

  Hi there, to register a new domain or map an existing domain, you will need an upgrade plan (individual upgrades are no longer available on WordPressdotcom). You can see those plans and what they include here:

  Keep in mind that the Personal plan (~US$72) includes not only domain/mapping, but also direct support from WPcom Staff by email or live chat (instead of posting in the public forums), as well as keeping advertisements off your site.
