Domain Mapping

  I have domain dunesmusicfestival.com redirected to dmftestsite.wordpress.com

  I do not want address bar to show dmftestsite.wordpress.com, i want it show dunesmusicfestival.com

  Do i need to buy premium server or it will be done by Domain Mapping

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need to upgrade to a paid plan (personal, premium, or business) in order to map your domain to the site.

  Hi there,

  Just to add to that, if you’ve set up a domain redirect at your domain registrar that won’t work. It will send traffic from your domain to your WordPress.com site, but it won’t show your WordPress.com site at your domain. The only way to do that is via domain mapping.

  What abt if i just purchase domain mapping, it cost be 13$, basic plan even cost me 60$

  It’s not possible to buy only domain mapping. The $13 cost is only if you already have a plan and you want to add extra domains. But the first domain on your site can only be added as part of a plan.
