Domain Mapping

  Hello there !

  I got into wordpress a few days back , and i bought a domain name from another domain name hoster . I came back to wordpress wanting to “Add domain to blog” , once i have key in my registed domain name . It says that i have to map the domain over at a cost of $12 per year .

  I have a little question right here , once i have map the domain over . Do i have to change any settings or i can just post like normal with my URL stated http://www.eyepullyou.com or either it will still be http://www.eyepullyou.wordpress.com .

  A little confused in here , still a newbie . Would appreaciate if anyone can help me out

  If you map a domain you still post as you always did – all that changes is visitors see a new web URL – the old links still work also so if you have visitors that bookmarked an old post they will still see that post – just the mapped domain name will now show in the browser URL
