Domain mapping

  Hi there,

  I own the parlonschiffres.com domain and would like my blog to redirect to it.
  When I try to use it as an extension I’m told it’s free, but when I go to check out it adds on WordPress premium automatically for 99USD/year.

  I wouldn’t like premium yet, is it not possible to redirect to my domain without paying that 99USD amount?

  Hi there,

  The domains page will only tell you a domain is free if you already have a plan added to your cart. In the checkout screen, click the red x next to the plan and then check the domains screen. You’ll see it now shows that you need to upgrade to add the domain.

  Domains can only be added as part of a paid plan. The Premium Plan is selected by default, but if you go to My Site ->Plans you can also add the cheaper personal plan instead and use that to add your domain.
