Domain Mapping

  Hey —
  Earlier this afternoon I removed domain mapping from my old blog with the intention of adding domain mapping to this account for the same domain. However when I try to purchase the domain mapping, I’m told that the domain isn’t yet available to be mapped. Does anyone know roughly how long the wait will be before I’m allowed to set up my domain on this new account?

  Hi there,

  I was able to map alexharman.net for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:

  1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

  2) If you haven’t done so already, point the domain to our name servers:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains
