Domain Mapping

  Hi there! My domain http://www.thekingofthecity.com is currently hosted at Godaddy and is set to forward to my wordpress site http://www.sistercityproperties.wordpress.com

  From what I’ve learned, setting it up that way prevents the domain http://www.thekingofthecity.com from being Mobile Friendly, so I’d like to Map it to my wordpress site, so long as this will fix the issue. Once I go through the wordpress steps listing here https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/ will I then need to UnForward my domain at Godaddy? Thanks!

  Yes. Cancel that forwarding. All you will need is to have your nameservers pointed to WordPress.com as instructed in the Domain Mapping support document.
