Domain Mapping

  In the past I have paid $13/year to have a domain I own mapped to a wordpress blog. It now looks like you have to pay the full 99/year for premium for this feature. Am I missing something?

  You can take personal plan to have a domain name included : https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/, below take a look at all the plans, you can have more storage, live chat support, and lot more features : https://en.wordpress.com/pricing/.

  HI there,

  New accounts can only map domains as part of a plan. This applies to all accounts created within the past year. If you have an older account you might still be able to add only a mapping upgrade there, but in this account which was created only 4 days ago you will need to purchase a plan.

  You don’t need the Premium Plan, but can also use the Personal Plan to do this. First add the plan at My Site ->Plans, and then add the domain mapping afterwards.
